منتخب العرب؛ منتخب يتساءل كثير من المهتمين بالرياضة عنه .. كونه يمثل حلاً جيداً لربط العرب وتوحدهم وتوحيد مشاعرهم بعيداً عن السياسة المقيتة، واعتقد أن أفضل طريقة لمد جسر المحبة والتوحد للشعب العربي هو اللغة التي يفهمها ويحبها الشباب العربي، وهي الرياضة نعم الرياضة؛ والتي إن تحققت الوحدة فيها ألغت جميع الحدود بين الدول العربية. إن أيّ منهج أو طريقة للربط بين العرب وخصوصاً الشباب العربي في مجالات الحياة المختلفة ستأخذ طابعاً سياسيً وتعصبيّاً وقد تُقبل أو ترفض من قبل الشاب العربي نفسه إلا مجال الرياضة، فلو فرضنا جدلاً أن هناك منتخباً كروياً للعرب تحت مسمى (منتخب العربي) نافس في كل البطولات ويتكون أفراده من أفضل اللاعبين العرب ويقودهم طاقم فني عربي .. ويكون الفريق كحال الفرق الأجنبية ذات اللاعبين المحترفين أو المنتخبات التي تحتوي على لاعبين مجنّسين من جنسيات مختلفة سيعمل هذا الفريق على توحيد الشباب العربي وربط الجسور الطيبة بينهم ويكون تواصلهم مضموناً وفي إطار المحبة لإنجاح هذا الفريق وبعيداً عن كل المجالات السياسية التي قد تعرقل الرابط الوحدوي بين الشباب العربي وبذا نكون قد ضمنّا ربط الشباب العربي برابط قوي وفي مجال يحبه. نتمنى أن نرى يوماً هذا المنتخب العربي. .
