روجير فيدرير.. نهاية أسطورة أم استراحة محارب؟

منذ تحقيقه لقب بطولة أستراليا المفتوحة مطلع العام الحالي، ومستوى اللاعب السويسري
شهد انخفاضا كبيرا حيث لم يستطع تحقيق لقب أية بطولة بعدها و كان أبرز إنجاز له هو الوصول
للدور النهائي في بطولتي مدريد للأساتذة وبطولة هالة الألمانية، إلا أنه لم يفز بأي منهما..

في السنوات الماضية عوّدنا السويسري على عدم تقديم مستوى لافت في بطولات سلسلة الألف نقطة
و ما يليها.. و لكنه كان دائما ما يرد على نقاده في بطولات الغراند سلام الكبرى حتى لقب ب”رجل
الغراند سلام” و التي لم يتنازل عن الوصول إلى الدور النصف النهائي فيها في 23 بطولة متتالية
حتى كانت بطولة فرنسا المفتوحة العام الحالي إذ خرج من الدور الربع النهائي على يد السويدي
روبين سوديرلنغ الذي أحرز مركز الوصافة للعام الثاني على التوالي في البطولة..
و لم يمر شهر واحد حتى خرج المايسترو من الدور الربع النهائي من بطولة كبرى أخرى وهي
بطولة ويمبلدون التي لم يتنازل عن الوصول إلى دورها النهائي في السنوات السبع الأخيرة
ليخرج بثلاث مجموعات لمجموعة أمام العملاق التشيكي توماس بيرديتش..
وبعد أن كان قاب قوسين من تحطيم رقم آخر للأمريكي بيت سامبراس و هو عدد أسابيع التصدر
على عرش التصنيف العالمي إذا بتصنيفه يتراجع من المركز الأول إلى الثالث و ذلك لأول مرة منذ
عام 2003 !!

هذا التراجع المخيف فتح الباب على العديد من التساؤلات حول مصير اللاعب الأسطوري..
ترى هل سيعود فيدرير كما كان؟ أم هي نهاية لاعب قدّم الكثير و الكثير لهذه الرياضة؟
هذا ما سنعرفه في الأسابيع القادمة خصوصا بعد بداية بطولة أمريكا المفتوحة التي ربما
تكون هي المفتاح للعودة أو للنهاية!
يذكر أن فيدرير أعلن بالأمس على موقعه الرسمي أنه سيستعين بخدمات المدرب
بول أناكون الذي يأمل أن يعيد له بريقه المفقود في الفترة الأخيرة.. و سبق للمدرب الأمريكي
تدريب بيت سامبراس في الأعوام 1995 إلى 2001 وأيضا قام بتدريب النجم البريطاني تيم هينمان..

نادال.. لقب ثانٍ في ويمبلدون

انشغالنا بالحديث عن تراجع مستوى روجير فيدرير لن ينسينا بالطبع الحديث عن إنجازات
غريمه الإسباني رافاييل نادال الذي لم يتوانَ عن سحق خصومه الواحد تلو الآخر..
الإسباني حقق 5 ألقاب في البطولات الست الأخيرة التي خاضها.
و كان آخر إنجاز له تحقيق لقب لطولة ويمبلدون للمرة الثانية بعد حوالي
شهر من تحقيقه لقب رولان غاروس.. و بهذه البطولة عادل الإسباني رقم
الأمريكيين آندريه أغاسي و جيمي كونورز و التشيكي ايفان لندل بعدد الألقاب في
البطولات الأربع الكبرى بعدد 8 ألقاب..
